As North Korea’s Secretary General Kim Jong-un’s daughter ‘Ju-ae’ appeared again at the military parade held to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the regime (September 9), the ‘successor’ theory is once again spreading. Inside the Party Central Committee, the title of ‘Ju-ae’ is changed to ‘Saebyeol’. It is reported that she has been promoted to ‘female general’. [This is an English test]
According to the NK Times on the 11th, a source inside North Korea, the official title of North Korean General Secretary Kim Jong-un’s daughter Joo-ae is ‘Precious, Respected Lady’, but she is called ‘Saebyeol Female General’ among members of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Party.
Since last July, executives of the Party Central Committee, a core department of the North Korean Workers’ Party, have been calling Kim Joo-ae by the title ‘Saebyeol Female General’, and in local areas, provincial party secretaries, organizational secretaries, and direct (metropolitan) city party secretaries and organizational secretaries have been calling Kim Joo-ae. It is said that her title has been elevated to ‘Saebyeol Female General’.
In relation to this, it is known that Kim Joo-ae’s title was actually used as ‘Saebyeol Female General’ at a lecture held for North Korean Central Committee executives to celebrate Victory Day (July 27) in mid-July.
At the lecture, he said, “Now the whole world is looking up to our Lady General Saebyeol. It is reported that a lecture praising Kim Joo-ae was held for over an hour, such as, “Thanks to General Saebyeol, our future is bright and prosperous.” It can be interpreted that the intention was to create an atmosphere in which central executives had a sense of reverence for Joo-ae, so that future residents would naturally also have a sense of reverence and loyalty for Joo-ae.
Afterwards, high-ranking central and local executives began calling Kim Joo-ae from her official title, Respected Child, to “Saebyeol Female General,” and central executives often say that Kim Joo-ae is the leader of the future generation, the source said.
The source said, “Isn’t Kim Jong-un also called prince until he was 7 years old, and then went through the titles of general Saebyeol and youth captain before becoming the current leader of the country?” and added, “The reason Joo Ae was asked to refer to Joo Ae as female general Saebyeol was because she wanted to protect future generations.” “It’s like telling her to be loyal from now on, since she is the leader of ,” he explained. “Currently, we are managing everything so thoroughly that we have a separate department that specializes in Kim Joo-ae’s health, clothing, and event schedule.”
At the same time, the source said, “As this (North Korea) is a patriarchal society, there are clearly limits to a woman’s position as a national leader.” He added, “Therefore, from now on, central executives are trying to create the perception that Joo-ae, even if she is a woman, is fully qualified to be a successor.” “It appears to be,” he claimed.
