According to the NK Times Pyongyang source on the 23rd, on the 10th, North Korea designated October 16 to November 10 as the period for rural support and instructed provinces and central agencies to mobilize all for autumn walking and grain harvesting.

Accordingly, it is known that provincial and central agencies are being mobilized for autumn harvesting on a 1-day, 7-day, and 10-day system.

In fact, the Trade Bank and the Ministry of External Economic Affairs are in charge of major farms in the South and North Hwanghae Provinces and are being mobilized for harvesting and grain harvesting. In the case of the Ministry of External Economic Affairs, it is said that workers from major departments are helping out in rural areas with the principle of mobilizing on a daily basis.

In addition, many government and central agencies, such as the Trade Bank, the Ministry of Railways, and the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, were mobilized to help farms in South Pyongan Province and North Hwanghae Province with harvesting, the source reported.

It is known that in North Korea, after the coronavirus outbreak, provincial and central agencies sent agricultural supplies such as small-scale farming equipment to the farms in charge, and mobilized a small number of people for autumn harvesting.
